Great update on what is happening in CTE at the state level

For more than 50 years, our Association has served Industrial Arts teachers, Tech Ed teachers, and now Career Cluster teachers. Our primary clusters are Architecture & Construction, Arts & AV, Information Technology, Manufacturing, and STEM. The Texas Industrial Arts Association was founded in 1955 by a few concerned industrial arts educators and teachers who recognized the need for a state organization to represent industrial arts as a phase of general education.  During the 80’s we changed our name to the Association of Texas Technology Education and strove to be the primary advocate for the study of Technology education, in all grades, to prepare the youth of Texas for success in a technological society. In this modern era, where the face of education is changing even more rapidly than technology, our association is seeking to redefine itself, reach out to teachers in multiple clusters, and remain a strong, vital advocate in the fields of Engineering and Technology education.
